In simple terms,

st165 = rev1
st185 = rev2
st205 = rev3

st165 = rev1
st185 = rev2
st205 = rev3

The 165 came out a good couple of years earlier than the mr2 turbo, the list should read:

st165 = nothing
st185 = rev1 & 2
st205 = rev3

Also, the CC top tank on the 165 is tiny compared to the later two units, much better to go for the ST185. Unless you have a Mk1 SC, in that case the 165 CC is a good swap for the top mount interwarmer that they have as standard!

agree with murf the 185 is equivalent to rev 1&2 MR2 tubby as 165 was different how I dont know but was onyl about 200bhp so 20bhp down on rev 1%2 tubby I seem to recall, the 165 CC should be ok to around 225-250bhp whereas the ST205 one is good for around 450bhp as much bigger surface area!
