    My New Engine for the TRD Replica!

    Well, here it goes...

    ENGINE BLOCK = 5VZ-FE (3.4ltr V6)
    Parts:
    - 9.6:1 Pistons
    - Pauter Rods

    Assembly will include:
    - Hot Tank
    - Re-Re Plugs
    - Cyl Honing (with torque plate)
    - Block Decked
    - Grind & Polish crank
    - Balance complete rotating assembly
    - Fit crank, bearings, rods & pistons.

    CYLINDER HEAD:
    Parts:
    Cams – (Stg 2 Turbo Race Grind Custom Specification)
    Titanium Valve Springs
    Pro Flo Intake and Exhaust Valves (Flows up to 25% more air at MAX lif 125% more air at .100” lift)
    - Mild Port and Polish - The valves flow as much as a aggressive P&P anyway! Also comes with a FLOW BENCH result of the port and polish job
    - Fitting of valves
    - Complete Cam and Valve Spring Assembly + shimming

    OTHERS:
    - Turbo is as yet undecided, but a GT35 with A/R of 0.82 will be the MINIMUM specification - and I'll probably go bigger, 48mm wastegate with screamer pipe
    - 6 x 1000cc injectors
    - Trunk mounted intercooler - 24" x 12" x 4"
    - Water Injection System
    - Hydra Nemesis ECU with harness
    - ARP Headbolts
    - Cometic Headgasket

    Wow!! Pretty impressive stuff.
    Bet you're gonna go for some chassis bracing as its a soft top as well.

    Whoops, my mistake, so no V6 convertible then? I've lost count of your cars Johnny! That's my excuse anyway, has nothing to do with losing marbles or anything. Just realised that my post on the Spyder thread is going to look pretty damn stupid now as well. Oh well, my bad! Old git syndrome, Lol!

    T-Bar = 5VZ TRD Kit @ ~700bhp
    Spyder = 3VZ TRD Kit @ 240bhp (for now!)

    Will this be a "streetable" engine that works nicely over the whole rev range or will the low end be sacraficed for the ultimate top end?

    No sacrifices made, Owen. It'll have super low end grunt and incredible mid and top range.

    Should make it the best mk2 hopefully in the world!! lol
    Weak spots will be the gearbox and the clutch ...

    750bhp.... you nutter! What a spec, can't wait to see this, sounds drool worthy. Would that make it the most powerful mr2 in the UK? I don't think the turbo boys are pushing that sort of horsepower over here? Would that be 700bhp on race fuel or road fuel?

    Good luck matey, can't wait to see the end result... £10 says you crash it, blow it up or loose your license lol
