    oil cooler

    the camry has two oil coolers in the front - can the smaller one be used in any way-how are you cooling the oil or are'nt you/does'nt need it?

    the camry has an oil cooler built into the base of the oil filter housing al so theres no need to do anything else,the small rad is for auto gearbox oil cooling if i remember rightly,JB and i thought about possibly using this cooler onto the turbo gearbox just to help it out,(theres a loopy pipe on the E153 that could be used for this) but its not needed at all mate.

    I kept both those coolers, in case they came in handy. The long one maybe could be fitted at the bottom of the bay for gbox oil as Paul says but probably only needed for track car. When you take out the coolant expansion bottle keep the brackets that support it, I was able to reuse them to hold the bottle in the mk1.
