    looking close , in the sunshine... its looking healthy from here, marvy. I had a clearout last w/e skipped 4-5 boxes of crap.. old hubs, mk2 hubs. can now move again. definately helps...
    ......in the bluecorner , fighting out of japan....

    they are very nice wheels there David for sure and really suit it ! Id be tempted to drive it round lke that for a while as sure would shift with all that weight off it thats for sure ! and for the looks you would get would be worth it !

    Dunno what it is, but half stripped cars look sooooo cool!

    Can guarentee the moment you throw something out of the garage you'll need it in the next day two!

    Actually - I see what yr saying Jiffy - makes them look sweet as a nut - shame we're not aloud to drive em round like that though... look like transformers lol

    Not really made up decent thread for the build so just add to this one.

    The car went for a MOT yesterday and although I knew it would fail coz I didn't bother my arse to check anything it amazingly only failed on a few things.

    1) Front headlight alignment out
    2) Rear nearside wheel loose - turned out I hadn't tightened the driveshaft nut up tight.
    3) Rear lights not working - I had an open circuit in the engine bay somewhere so just ran a new wire through from behind the passenger seat to the boot.

    All fixed so back in on Monday for the MOT and thats it on the road.

    Still got plenty to do but as least its on the road. Adrian Flux has quoted me £356 insurance. Still to do the phoning round bit.

    Yes and no issues apart from the alignment which I hadn't even bothered to check
