    Huh read your post on Friday Adam and thought smugly, yeah I wont make that mistake, been warned you see
    Then b****r me if it doesn't collapse in me hand on Saturday :shock: :x
    Never mind I can solve this! Fits it all back together in 10 min 8)
    Doh - locked solid like Mal's, seems you gotta get the grooves crossing not parallel, obvious when you think about it :?
    Struggled a bit more then printed out your instructions - BRILLIANT - once set up as in pics 2minute job :)
    Thanks Adam, saved me from heart attack. You should definitely make it a sticky for future sufferers.
    BTW for other V6ers this joint on the Camry is identical to the one on the GT4 ST165/185 so if you find your tulip joint is knackered, as I did, you can replace it with one off the Camry
