    Adjustable ARB's

Has any one experimented with adjustable anti roll bars?

I've 3 settings and at the moment the cars set on hole closest to the end of the bar,now if i set it to the holes furthest away from the end (this will shorten the ARB by about 25mm each end) what sort effects should i expect ?

General rule of thumb if you shorten it, it will reduce the amount of movement so it should make it sharper or harsher depends on how you like your roll?

Yeah. That’s what I thought would happen, as there’s less bar to twist about.

So in effect it might give similar results as fitting stiffer springs?

Shorter moment arms = stiffer, longer moment arms = softer. The end of the car (front or rear) you stiffen will get a smaller proportion of the grip (i.e. shift the bias to the other end). If you soften you will get a larger proportion of grip at that end.

In other words, stiffening the front or softening the rear will shift your grip bias rearward and give you more understeer
Stiffening the rear or softening the front will shift your grip bias forward and give you more oversteer
