Drive shaft hell!?

Hi, can any one tell me the best GT4 outboard CV to get? The reason i'm not sure is on one of the American 1.5 sites hes using ST 165 cvs on mk2 shafts and on a UK site they are using ST 185 cvs!!! Any help is most appreciated. :?:

hi.
the tried and tested solution is to use mk1SC CVs on the turbo shafts but these are hard to find in the UK second hand.
here are other options which are proven to fit with turbo shafts.
camry outer cv-joint
st185 outer cv-joint
not 100 % sure on st165 though there has been talk in the past that they are the same as st185 CVs.
anyone else..?

ST185 outer cv's are readily available over here and definitely work on the mr2 turbo shafts. I'd stick with them..... here are mine:

Thanks for the help chaps. I have just managed to remove the old turbo cvs. Will now go and sort some new gt4 jobies. I will let you know how I get on.

my old 84 NA was about as bad as that, infact once I removed the rear engine mount and heaps of water came out of the bolt holes! Random.
Thankfully my 89 doesn't appear to have a single bit of rust...yet
