No - I totally agree - seems like a pretty good idea to just run them off the fuel pump circuit - although saying that, are the fans designed to run such high loads - how long would they last before burning them out by running constantly?

Er - we don't all have dedicated MR2 workspace and the right tools for these jobs!!

This sounds like a job for the A-Team...

Having problems!!! Can't get this lock nut off...

The original lock-nut remover isn't available, and on top of that - I got a Halfraud's locknut remover which won't work as the wider part fouls on the alloy...

How can I get these off without grinding the offending bit of alloy away??

    few ways to do it.

first..its not a thin metal cover is it?. (just checking).

i can turn down your lock nut tool if the diameter is too large to fit into alloy hole.

none of them are the same, get an old socket and smack it over the top of the locknut so it bites into it,the socket+nut can then be removed.

Or lop the end off and old extension bar, weld it to the nut and twist!

    Cheers,
