When you get time, could you do me a big favour and have a look underneath the boss for that steering wheel? My dad has got an aftermarket wheel for his rev1 turbo and we can't get it to fit with any boss we've tried. His has an enclosed black plastic ring (used for the speed sensitive steering AND the horn push) that rotates in itself underneath the standard wheel, rather than the usuall simple brass ring for the horn push.Originally Posted by Sponge Bob

Ash, the turbo exhaust may be different (I think) can anyone confirm ?

John I need to source the exhaust anyway - only have the downpipe :(
I'm also missing the O2 sensor, and I think the engine bay temp sensor... that's it.
Oh I've got no charcoal cannister ;)
...and no - it's not painted lol... I just have to remain nice and tidy for work!!

Would have though you could use the Mk1 engine bay sensor? Universal O2 sensor probably a cheaper option too!
you can use a mk3 lambda sensor, expect to pay ?10 from a scrappy..

Yeah - I know about the cannister cheers Paul - I had a little search on the forum - it seems that you can just whack a u-bend on where the pipe comes out from the top of the intake... I saw a pic on a thread which looked neat and tidy... didn't know the temp sensor was not needed - so that's good to know!

yeah just double the vac tube back on itself onto both fittings on top of the manifold mate,job done.... i wire both engine bay and IC fans onto the fuel pump circuit (blue wire on COR) so they run permenantly while the engine runs,best way really...you want the best cooling you can get so doesnt make sense them coming on and off on a switch really.
