    Restoration

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what I can do about my rust issues! I'm a beginner really when it comes to fighting it. My method at the moment is to use a wire brush or angle grinder to get the metal silver/shiny (or as close to that as I can), then to use kurust and then paint. Unfortunately the underside of the red circled bit it not accessible really and it's badly rusted under there. I was wondering if Jenolite rust remover might help but I don't really know if it could deal with bad pitted rust. Alternatively I expect welding in new metal would work but I can't weld. Might have to learn. Or just treat with kurust but I doubt that'd last long. Any other ideas advice?

Thanks guys any help would be really appreciated.

I'll get some. Nothing is flaking off but I think it will be very pitted. It's probably the worst rust on this part of the car and typically the only bit I can't really get to.

Here's a pic of he rust underneath. It's black due to rust inhibitor I've put on to try and slow it down a bit.
