Aw11 roll cage

Good afternoon,

It’s been a little while since I posted I’ve been slowly neavering away with the mk1.5, I am starting to think about keeping my self safe on the track and dragstrip and I think I would like a rollcage or a harness bar as a minimum. The previous owner who raced the car put holes in the rear firewall and used a spreader plate for his harness but I feel this isn’t as secure as I would I like. So my question is where is best to get a cage fitted. I don’t plan to race in any motorsport series so I don’t need it to fit any MSA requirement but if it does that would be just a bonus.

Yes would you be able to give me an idea of cost? And is it a bolt in or weld in?

Hi mate.
I have just replied to you via PM with regards to the cost.
It is a bolt in but it can be welded, some plates have to be mate on the feet area to secure it
