1mz in a mk1. Miles per tank

I know this is usually the last thing that gets discussed with modified cars but it's starting to bug me that whenever I take my car out on a run I fuel up before we set off and I find myself needing to fill up on my way home. I normally get around 160 miles ish for 30 litres of fuel which is around 24 mpg, is that normal? Or is it just because the fuel tank in the mk1 is a fair bit smaller than the mk2?

Oh yeah, my 1mz is running the trd supercharger with 5.5psi pulley but I found the mpg hasn't dropped that much compared to when it was na.
