That's beggining to look like an ECU fault, i would check the ECU is getting 12v permanent on its W/R wire (22 pin plug) and that it stays constant even after the fault, also check the B/Y wires on the same plug (pins 12 and sometimes 13) are getting 12v ignition and they too stay constant after the fault.

If that checks out ok i would be tempted to try another ECU.

Good evening Paul, I have tested the power at W/R wire and it is at 12.89 volts static but when cranking it drops below 8 volts, the other B/Y wire has no power to it at all?
does this wire correspond to the EFI relay? or is it the theft deterrent wire?

    Thanks Alex

Ah right 8v is about right during cranking but the black/yellow on that plug should show 12v with ignition switched on, did you test it with ignition on?
