When I put the alternator on mine I used one of these
It was from a 350 or 370z, it did the job really well

Hi Paul,
Loving this, are the wheels Watanabe's?
What are the specs? Width, offset etc?
Hi, they are Watanabe replicas, 15x8 and zero offset all round... I have staggered the tyres though.
Not much of an update due to very little time spent on the car, customer workload is extreme these days, but I got the new IC hoses and IC position mocked up in situ.
Excuse the dust and dirt, it all needs a damn good clean.
There's a BOV flange to weld onto the 180* IC pipe which will be painted gloss black, bracket to make for the IC and a fan with separate controller to wire in.
Getting there slowly.
A predominantly white engine bay... You're certainly a brave man and I'm sure it will be spotless at all times, but sack that for the effort!!
Trying to think what it reminds me off...
Yeah it's going to be a right twat to keep clean Tommy, probably not my best decision ever.
What products do you use to clean your engines in the shop Paul? I imagine the 2nd hand ones come in looking pretty filthy.
I'm struggling to clean my block, and I really don't want to take it apart.
Anything you can recommend?
Steam clean everything to start with, my machine was over a grand new but a good jetwash with degreaser will work too.
Then individual parts are soda blasted before priming and painting or left bare.
Shot blast, vapour blast or any other media, including powder coating goes nowhere near my engines.
Jetwash and an overnight soak in degreaser it is then. Cheers Paul!
