Going by other posts the guy has made this'll be a cosmetic bodykit rather than a full on "proper" 222D replica, as that's all the legislation in his home country will allow. As far as scrutineering and race series eligibility are concerned, it'll be a stock mk1. Which kinda makes me a sad panda.
Proper 222D would probably get into Rallycross. Maybe even one of the modified production classes if you were to use a reinforced mk1 shell rather than a spaceframe.
It's a 2.0 inline four that thinks it's a viper v10. What's not to love?
