    RS2000 - MRS Kit Car

I frequent a kitcar forum for research in advance of truning my MX5 into a 250GTO replica, and stumbled across this which I thought you guys might be interested in.

If he pulls it off it will be a bit special.

I'm often on that site as well after a recent kit car purchase but i have to say if i was going to do one of the tribute kits it would have to be the 250 swb.... http://www.tributeautomotive.co.uk/250swb.html

I have no interest in giving it the ferrari treatment but i think that black car looks awesome... i must search about once a week to see if one ever comes up for sale. (I don't think i could bring myself to build one)

That MrS project does look pretty ambitious, i'll be keeping an eye on it also.

I've met Wayne Blackwell, he bought an Elise bonnet section I had, drove all the way up to Northampton to collect it.

Really nice guy, was very intrigued by the Ferrari Dino body kit sat in my garage.

That Blackwell kit does look nice but I am going for the Tribute MX250 kit myself.

They do seem to get good reviews and with quite a few others built / being built there are a lot of reference points.
