    Optitronic dash

    Does anyone know which resistor to remove to convert to v6 tacho? Or can i put a potentiometer in the wiring before it goes into the dash?

    just an update,

    the car has a 1mz-fe vvti and im fitting a dash from a 2az-fe does anyone know it the tacho is driven by crank sensors on both engine types? if so it may be plug and play!

    Hmmm, i think you need both wiring diagrams in front of you to compare. Not something ive looked at personally.

    I have the wiring diagrams, the tach signal comes from the ecu, there doesn't appear to be any link to anything else (ie: Igniters) this suggests to me that it is crank sensor driven?
