Thread: Help! Done some welding now my car won't start!

    I did the same to a Sierra sapphire cosworth spiked the ecu was ok as had a spare but costly mistake.
    When I welded the mk1 I disconnected the battery and removed the ecu from the car just in case talk about overly cautious.

    Turns out it was two wires touching within the loom along the N/S door. I'd have never found that.

    Cost me a bastard fortune to have fixed too!

    But that's why you pay a fortune as the guys have got the experience and the kit to dignose these issues and that's what you're paying for.

    Anyhoo, glad to see the car is active again and now you get it back on the track.
