Thread: New improved MR2 Clock

    New improved MR2 Clock

    I've started a new project to design a improved clock that looks a little bit more modern and has more functions. The idea is to make a replacement PCB that fits inside the standard plastics so it will look like an OEM.

    The main features will be:

    * 7 segment display in one of 4 colours (white, red, green or blue)
    * Clock and date, accurate to within 2 minutes per year, automatically adjustment for british summer time/daylight savings.
    * Wideband lambda display
    * Boost gauge, with peak hold display
    * Voltage meter
    * External Air temperature (possible)

    The clock will also have a Canbus interface for future expansion to connect up to other data sources (OBD1/2, accelerometers, etc...)

    So far I've selected a suitable LED display and I'm in process of designing the PCB. The software will be release as open source to allow anyone to customise the functionality.
