    Turbo ones don't work on 3vz's, the signal voltage operates 0-5v on a turbo and 5-0v on a 3vz.

    Yeah, curve ball. I bought it because it was cheap, but I recall you saying it wasn't compatible with a 3VZ. Figured it might be of use for spares.

    Just to round this short thread off, I did the old trick of blowing fag smoke down the intake and found that the rocker cover breather pipe had split If it wasn't for the chargecooler it would have been blatantly obvious but never mind. New pipe is on and it's flying again now.
