I hate all southerners. As a point of reference, I'm stood at the north pole.
The perspex (or similar) part is actually exactly the same as the genuine ford one, but the weatherproof bit on mine is the hard top, on the original one, it is the cockpit - similar in concept. Plus, like it separates the cabin from the engine bay!
I'm thinking about getting brutal... I may chop the hardtop away so it is level with the top edge (where the window was- at the top), also the monocoque part that goes left-right, that the rear brace attaches to, move it fwd, level with the top of the roof, leaving the whole engine exposed, - no parcel shelf. Then put in the Ford style window, which is not raked, is flat vertically.
Here is a pic of an original RS200 type set-up.
So, if I remove the parts in red - including the metalwork (yes I know the big beam is structural!) & replace with the blue parts, the square being the window.
