1MZ Mk3 - The gift that just KEEPS on giving.

After a clutch and/or gearbox failure of my 1MZ Mk3, I have started to strip it down for the repair.
Have a look below at what I'm dealing with!

I have rectified much more than this so far, and sure there will be more to come.
Please note, this engine change was not done by me, or Woodsport.

Looks like a rear gearbox mount....

ECU wiring anyone?! (This is now fixed!)


This is the standard of all the wiring mods, twist 'n tape:



Exhaust, some stainless steel bits, some mild steel bits, all mild welding (if you can call it welding).






Weld onto the join of the backbox!

At least it's being put right, I knew what I was buying & expected some work needed doing. I'd be angry if I paid for that 'upgrade' though.

Shocking! Do you know the history of the build? Not saying name and shame but curious if it was sold off the back of this forum (as were are the home of a v6 swap)

I'm in a tricky spot, i know the guy and i'm friendly with him, he's a member here also, i'll be honest in that i wasn't aware of the extent of the work, which putting it mildly isn't good.... i guess i don't want to risk a friendship.
