V6 engine removal

I hope to drop it out at the weekend, for a clutch and some other general tidying and maintenance.
Will I need to drop the cross member?
If so, any tips, should I mark position of any suspension adjusting bolts?
I intend to leave the axles/wheels on the car.

Yes, the cross member will need to come off. You could mark bolts etc but you prob just need to get the geometry checked on a 4 wheel alignment rig.

I leave the suspension and axles in place, just rotate them so they're out of the way.
