    Cheap air tools

If any body's interested Lidl has a range of air tools and compressor on offer from Thursday, good for home use, probably not the best quality but usable.

Good shout, much thanks. I'm using a Power Craft compressor originally from Lidl or Aldi, like you say not Snap On but perfectly useable cheap tools to run into the ground.

I may have to pop in and do some shopping!

    :)

I gotta say there is nothing that can compare to quality tools like Snap On or Mac Tools but if a cheapo company gives you a lifetime warranty on tools and do replacements without reciept (PRINCESS AUTO!!!) they are worth a look.

One time I found half a wrench inside of the treads of a tire, took it there and they gave me a brand new one. Tool can break 100 times always replaced for free.

If it's cheap, make sure it's got a stellar warranty!

    Sadly, there are exceptions:

For SNAP-ON brand hand tools (other than torque wrenches) and tool storage units, the warranty is a LIFETIME warranty effective as long as you own the tool

Go on..... Ask me how I know....
