Boost issue mk1.5

so lately i noticed i have a weird thing going on when accelerating.
i initially thought it was ignition related maybe coil or plugs but noticed today that my boost pressure is showing a problem.
i took a vid of the gauge under boost conditions and you can see the needle will drop on occasions for a couple of psi..you can really feel this in the car.
i dont hear any other noises or see any fault codes.
any ideas?
first part of vid is at 16 psi then after a minute it switches to 18 psi.



for ref the number at 10 o'clock position is 10psi and 20psi is at roughly 12 o'clock.

Split air pipe? Might be leaking under movement.

checked everything pipe related and can't see anything amiss.

A blocked breather or blown manifold gasket, or have you changed any thing like an air filter could of dislodged or trapped a pipe?

No its an almost on off type fault.. Not analogue leaky type thing.

Is the TVSV still hooked up?

It shouldn't be Paul but will check someone hasn't left it plugged in today.

Could the bov be to blame?

It could be, or a boost leak somewhere...... i jury rig a pipe that runs from turbo to throttle body, no BOV, no IC, nothing, just a straight turbo to TB pipe, that way you can eliminate everything on the boost side.
