1997 1MZ Camry DLC3 Plug
Hoping someone can shed some light on this...
Trying to hook up the DLC3 connector from the 1997 1MZ Camry which is now in the mk2 MR2.
I removed the connector from the car, and there are only 6 wires on it but I'm not 100% as to connecting it up.
The DLC3 connector looks like this;
and the 6 wires that are on the plug are as follows;
Pin 1 - Orange wire with 1 silver dash, used as a BUS+ but thats as far as I've got
Pin 4 - White/Black wire normal toyota chassis ground/earth
Pin 7 - White wire - As far as I can see it should connect to SIL
Pin 9 - Black/Orange with 1 silver dash - Not sure on whether this should be tacho or power
Pin 13 - Light Green/Red with 1 silver dash - Dunno, possibly BUS-?
Pin 16 - Black - Battery Live (Fused with 4A fuse)
So, after some input/verification on any/all of the wires. Tried looking through online and the electrical diagrams but can't seem to find definitive answers so hoping someone can shed some light on it. I have read that the DLC3 port will work with just 3 wires connected, being Pin 1, Pin 7 and Pin 16 but would prefer to get a second opinion and to get it wired up properly.
