Passenger (RH) side axle seal E153

Hi,

I just installed new axle seals on both the LH as the RH side. The left hand side (drivers side over here ;P) seems to be ok.
Only I’ve got a problem with the right hand side. When i fill the transmission up the oil just seems to freely flow out of the right hand side.

What caught my attention is that the oil seal is inserted quite deep into the transmission. So I googled a picture and now I’m almost certain that that's my problem. On that pic the oil seal is levelled with the outside of the transmission while mine is an estimated 8mm deeper into the transmission.

Should there be some kind of spacer, did I insert it to deep or what could be my problem?

Don't take this the wrong way, but did you fit it the wrong way round?
