N/A janspeed backbox with 3vz-fe too loud ?

I got a N/A stainless steel Janspeed backbox with twin 4.5" pipes. The janspeed box has 2" pipes all way around with 4.5" tailpipes. i dont want something too loud as i am hoping to do track days with this car.

I am going to change the tips to smaller size at some point in the future after i complete the v6 conversion.

Am i best off getting turbo backbox as the N/A pipes are different to turbo where it meet the Y pipe?

    Hi,

To be honest, those pipes are way too small. You want 2" - 2.5" down to the join then 2.5" - 3" back.

I think that will be a bit restrictive, and sound a bit 'high'. You will lose some of the V6 grumble.

Having said that, it should be easy enough to graft in and give it a try.

    Chris.

Not sure what it cost you, but I would bung it on eBay for £150 or best offer.

    :)

That looks more like a powerflow custom jobbie...
Will be rather on quiet and restrictive side..
Plus as chris says .. It'll lose the v6 soundtrack. .
But if u go for a japspeed that will be too loud and make your ears bleed .
