Custom exhaust for a mk1.5
Can anyone recommend an exhaust company somewhere near Mid-Wales or the Midlands? I've heard good and bad things about powerflow so just wondering if anyone's had any good experiences elsewhere.
Cheers

I've had a couple of systems done by Powerflow but I think they are a franchise so you can get good & bad ones

All depends on how good the builder is. Powerflow have people who can create works of art and bodgers too.

Yeah, I don't fancy taking any chances, which is why I'm after some feedback from other, smaller companies. How about MIJ, or Torque Flow, anyone used em?

Never used mij but my mate curses them all the time. Says they're bunch of crooks.
Torqueflow boys I have used quite a few times and they quite good.
Actually the exhaust I got on bee6 right now was modded by them to fit. Theyve modded exhausts 3 times now for the bee6. .. haven't had a full system made by them so can't say much about that
Imran the chap that owns and runs the business is a great guy and has some real good skills with a welder

Nice one, cheers mrT. I've sent off a quote request form to torque flow so we'll see what they come back with.

Might be better buying a Mk2 turbo exhaust and making it fit mate

Cheers all. I'd not looked into mongoose, but I guess they're a similar franchise to powerflow, hence the search for an independent company.
A.A.S looks good, but a 4-5 hour drive is a bit much I'm afraid.
Ollie, that would certainly be the cheapest option but I fancy finishing the car off properly. Plus my welding is still a bit shite!

I really rate JP in Macclesfield. Do quite a few high end cars etc.
