Went through some of the pictures and saw some that I took and not uploaded. Here is how I bolted the linkage. Nothing tricky but a flat head works well holding the socket. I later cut the lower heater hose. It doesn't require me to unbolt the linkage to pieces in the further.

I wish I can say like stock but it's been so long since I driven the spyder I can't remember (i've done one oil change since I bought it in Nov 2011, only put ~3,000 miles since I bought it). I finally dropped the front some more since the kids wanted to be outside today. Might take both of them for a ride, lol. Too hot, so I stayed in the shade and just watch them run in the sun and scratch my car. Got to love that hot top. I might go to the movies tonight and feel younger later with wifey on the hardtop :) Low and slow :)
