    Never had a problem with overheating but I have a caliper with a dodgy handbrake mechanism that's affecting the whole cars braking response, so I need to replace a caliper anyway and now seems like a good time to upgrade. Have to do something quick though because I have a trip to Scotland in less than 3 weeks.

    If it wasn't for your dodgy caliper I'd have suggested just gutting the bias valve to get the F/R balance back to more or less standard with the ST165 calipers on the front ( that's what I did with mine, and it brakes perfectly )
