Small update, got the turbo elbow today.

I am also in the process of rubbing down my wheels not sure to leave them silver or to paint them though?
    Hey Beckie,

just a word of warning.. the down pipe is likely to crack. I've cracked a couple over the years and now just run a gutted original cat. You can get downpipes with a flexi section welded in but they are a little more expensive to find. Berk to a good one.

Looking forward to seeing it at JAE!
    Cheers

    Ollie

or as a precaution make a little securing arm from one of the lower flange bolts onto the block to avoid stress on the downpipe.

That top piece needs welding at the inner wing, it's no good where it is, it stops you ever removing the Mk2 engine mount block, meaning a cam belt change is impossible without dropping the engine out....

Thanks Paul we have removed it for now.

Sorry for being quiet but we had a few problems, missing bolts, missing parts, just silly time consuming little things. But now the engine has a new cam belt, water pump and clutch.

    Made up some heat sheilds.

And its in the car on its mounts

    battery relocated to the boot
    bc coilovers
    powdercoated suspension arms and hubs
    polybushed suspension
    polybushed engine mounts
    st205 front brakes
    rev2 turbo rear brakes
    woodsport engine cover
blitz nur spec r exhaust system
    blitz sus air filter
    turbosmart dumpvalve
