    Yellow v6 roadster

Recently picked up the v6 roadster.

1mz with extended 5th gear and LSD.

Loving it, I would describe the acceleration as being shot out of a cannon:icon_mrgreen:

It's a 2001 plate and was a woodsport conversion quite a few years ago. The first owner done quite a good job of crashing it so it ended back up at woodsport for repair and was sold to Sam in Glasgow who had it a few years but hardly used it.

Had it a few weeks now and love it:icon_twisted:

The paint is still nice and bright and came up good after a quick shampoo.

The hardtop needs repainted as it was red and I need to find side strikers for it, can wait till summer though when the prices of the roof kits go down.

    Plans are

to get the car a full service since it's sat for a while

J spec front lip and side skirts
    Jspec front nose badge
    Facelift side vents
    Facelift side repeators
    Rear bumper spats
    New alloys
    Facelift rear plate fillers
    Enjoy driving it

Will try and get some pics up.

For the full service can anyone tell me what I need? And reccomened oil etc for these cars?

    Was thinking
    Oil
    Oil filter
    Fuel filer
    Plugs
    Leads
    .......and anything else recommended.

    Thanks

Ah, so that's what happened to Wills' old 2. Sounds nice Donna, does it still have the rather nice and unique Hayward and Scott twin exhaust on it?

    Hello,
It's the same exhaust as in the pics, not sure of the maker but it's pretty noisy :)

That will be the H&S then, it is a one off by them, similar style to their one for the 1zz engine, but with larger pipework, originally made for a turbo 1ZZ.
If its too loud, then I can recommend a Magnex if you can find one used. I had one that was ideal with my V6.

Had no idea that was up here. Glad it's staying, hope to see it around more.

Donna, please find some before and after pics of the car for your own records showing the damage and what i did to repair it.

    Before...

    During...

    After....

    Hope that helps.
