    Yet another 2gr Mk3 build

Becoming more popular these days, a lethal cocktail of 2gr brutalness and a lightweight chassis, it's got casualty dept wrote all over it!

This one is from France, Richard drove all the way to Woodsport, as you do.

It is destined to be a Lambo replica, which will be getting fitted somewhere else once it has the heart of a raging bull installed, so the engine bay and engine detailing will be within the lambo colour scheme.

Engine bay being modified to accept the widowmaker...

The front crossmember modification, needed with Goukys marvellous headers...

Cam covers painted satin black.... lovely....

Phoar! Lambo metallic pearl Orange, this is the plenum painted...

The engine bay will get painted the same colour, it's going to look, sound and go mouth wateringly good.

An awful lot more to come.

Haha brilliant, that'll be insane, are you putting the panels back on or is it going back ready for lambo panels?

Which Lambo kit is going on this?

That should slow it down a bit then!

You ought to be taking bits off a car not nailing more on!

    :)

    Gallardo tho.... Mmmmmmm....

I can't fault the kit or the fitment of a 2gr at least it's the right way round this time, engine first then kit.

    Engine now assembled...

The engine bay has a few days prep left before installation.

Alright Tiggs, I get it. Lol.

A lot of builders think they will be satisfied with the original engine, then soon realise more power is required, like myself. An engine swap was not part of my original plan.

You'll be glad to hear that I am pushing others, particularly DNA builders, to have the engine work completed first. If i did it again, that's what I'd do. Although I do like the idea of a standard looking mk3 with a 2gr squeezed in. Let's see what the future brings.
