just a wee update -

we manned up!

Took your advice because had i done so in the first place, i wouldnt be in this mess! dropped the engine out, did the valve cover gaskets/spark plug seals as when we serviced her, there was some oil in the threads of the plugs (better safe than sorry), had the box sent to a machine shop to get welded, burnt bushes and threw the engine back in over the weekend.

Cheers for the comments I shall pass on twobrutals approval to the big man himself. Funny thing is we try to encourage him to drop the lbs but on days like that he was priceless!
