Anyone fitted power steering to non PAS MR2 Mk2?

How many Mk2s were made WITHOUT power steering ? (noob here)

Mk1 never had power steering, mk2 rev 1 never had it and mechanical speedo drive rev 2 onwards I think had pas.

Also didn't the rev1 have smaller wheels ?

14" till the brake upgrade on the MY92. so around end 92- begin 93 they got 15" rims.

As far as I can recall Powersteering became an option in '92.

You're right about the rev1 having 14inch rims. I've never been sure which model mine is, its an import. Had 15" wheels, has PAS, but its reg doc suggests its a 1991. Where's the site that translates the vin/engine number to year and factory of birth?
