I'm not sure they measure decibels for an mot (unlike a bloody track day!) but my advice would be to make a nice quiet setup for the mot and another setup to bolt on when you get back!

Or as my mate says about my exhaust it's fecking loud init pass, it does help growing up together and as it says in the rules a lot of this is as they say "up to the tester".
