while it certainly is a good motor, the original graph did not demonstrate what the small dip does to the horsepower. i added horsepower curves to the graph and now you can see the 40-50hp difference between the 2gr and the 3mz vvti. certainly still a good choice if the availability is better over there.Originally Posted by Spook

the 3.3L made it over to your side of the pond in the Lexus RX series. possibly more but i don't really know.

I don't think even the 1MZ's made that much Luke.
Everything i've seen floats about 195 for them in standard form.
i really wanted to make sure i was comparing apples to apples for this graph to help reduce internet arguments on this topic. probably wishfull thinking, but i tried.

keep in mind, this is SAE-NET hp. your british BHP is just a tiny fraction smaller than the definition we use here in the USA so that 188hp is probably 195 that you're used to seeing.
