wee roadster runs ok no fauts showing when plugged in but its ticking over about 1400 rpm anyone know how the fekits doing this

So what engines this then is it the pocvips or an air leak in the manifold?
Basing it on if it's a v6.

its standard vvti 1800 nothing done to it

Could be a leak in the exhaust manifold, faulty maf can do this too. Any codes showing? Try cleaning the maf and disconnecting the battery for 20 mins or so to reset the ecu. They are the cheapest and easiest ways to begin.
