Do you think Lotus might start using the audi V8 soon as well
That swap is only for the clinically insane, or if your first name's Paul. :)

Cleary - yes but cost no object, I'd take their 2009 tech over their early 1980s tech :)

Mk1s handle. I know this from driving my slightly tired example. I've manned the shotty in a Mk1 S/C with around 200bhp and that was ballistic and handled.

I'm just hoping 270bhp / 250lbft doesn't turn "handling" into "accident waiting to happen"...

We'll see what engine goes in the Esprit. lol

    (L-FA V10 i would think)

I thought it would be that too Ol but keep hearing there'll be 2-3 different version of the Esprit (e.g. V6, V8, V10, or two of the three with/ without FI).

I'm starting to think that the 2UR-GSE from the ISF is the most likely donk for the Esprit, maybe with boost if they're feeling frisky...

I'll not complain so long as they don't try and charge the price of a 3 bed semi (I haven't got one I could trade against a loutish lotus).

I can see the Esprit being nigh on £100K.

It'll be all you want and more but you'll pay for it.

i thought the wave form on the drive by wire was a digital signal not anoluge like a wire cable progressive throttle.

Yea, the pedal is a potentiometer, with varying voltage being relayed to the ECU, depending on how far it's depressed.

True but my big toe is still analogue lol

actually its powered by electrical stimuly from the brain telling which muscles to contract or let loose.

very much like the throttle of the 2gr man and machine as one.
