May have to look at fiiting a new cooler like this myself, a while back I won a supra item for the grand sum of ?21+p&p. For some reason the seller wont tell me the p&p price so I can get a cheque off to him. Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that 2 days after I won it 2 coolers went for about ?100 each? :roll:
i think thats defo why he wont post it out to you i paid ?120 for my intercooler which i think is a good price for one this size

i bloody hate it when they do that...threaten neg feedback,then try to get ebay to make him respond (although they are practically useless) ,failing that go to his house,rape his cat and stuff it through his letterbox :shock:

hi fellas done some more work on the intercooler ive added some fans mmmmmm and they only cost me a tenner
i went to look over a car for my nephew and this guy had a pug 205 gti there for parts so after i looked over my nephews car ten pounds later and they were mine had to trim all the crap off the sides but they fit perfect :D

I've got mine blowing down from the top through the intercooler... but that will only be for low speed and when sitting in traffic. Theres a scoop underneath the hole in the floor for high speed 50mph+ where I doubt the fan will be able to do anything.
So.. low speeds... airflow down through intercooler via fan.
High speeds, fan switched off... airflow up through boot and out through top.
Would be good if I could wire the fan in to switch off automatically at 50-ish.

the fans blow up off the floor and will exit around the number plate so i wont need a bootlid mod and the low pressure at the back of the car will drag the air up and out well thats the plan anyway :D

podge those fans and that whole IC set up is truly excellent,hats off to you sir!
John you might as well leave the fan running constantly,it wont blow through the tightly packed fins of the IC that well,its too densly packed for that...well the supra one is anyway....the fan on the supra one really only blows onto it rather than through but the way you have the ducting underneath and the fan on top is more than adequate in my opinion,its certainly better than the way i had mine.
finaly finished this tonight but to dark for piccies so ill arm myself with my camera tomorow and get some my car is now fan powered aswell :D
