Oil Filter - Any recommendations?

hello again people,

I'm hoping to have my engine in the car by the end of next weekend and im still in need of an oil filter (might as well change since its very easy to get at atm)

So any oil filter in specific I should look at getting/avoiding?

So far I have changed:
- Spark plugs
- Cambelt
- Gaskets
- Water Pump
- Gearbox
- Clutch
- Apex Air filter (yet to be fitted)

If any one can see anything i have missed then please shout!

Got one here you could have had!

I buy the generic ones off of eBay, usually under a fiver.

Try eBay item number 380467830568

Buy two, and then you can drop the oil and change the filter after a few hundred miles. That's my equivalent of 'flushing' the engine.

They are pretty easy to get at when the engine is in, so don't wait for it to turn up before you hang that engine!
