Thanks, has already saved me from repeating previously asked questions here on our site. I should have pointed out that it is an American site so use it for reference as there will undoubtedly be small differences between U.K and USA specs.

hey, can anyone tell me if the 1mz has the same mountings as the 3vz?
i.e. the custom juoby that 4v6 does and will it bolt up to the s54 gear box?
.... oh and is the wiring alot harder?

    1MZ-FE info

I thought I might post up some 1MZ-FE related info, mainly for my own benefit as Firefox has a habit of forgetting that I have 100 tabs open that I haven't gotten around to bookmarking.

1MZ-FE Build info, not as technical as the OP but still useful.

OOO liking the sound of a 1mz head on 3vz block. Add a nice aftermarket ECU and that could be cooking....

Isn't it the 3mz block with the 1mz heads?

Just been googling every blooming 3mz car and the only one that looks to be in the uk is the Rx400h hybrid.

There's no luck getting a 3MZ in Aus either they come in recent models of the Toyota Kluger & Lexus RX330, neither of which are likely to be found cheap at a wreckers.
