    Pauter chrome molly rods...

    1MZ-FE

    3VZ-FE

These High Performance Rods are custom made by Pauter Machine to fit the 1MZ-FE engine.

Rated at 300hp per cyl, these rods can take pretty much take anything you throw at them, wither you are running a 150shot of NO2 or pushing 25psi with a Whipple Twinscrew Supercharger!

    Specifications:
    - E4340 vacuum melt chrome moly forging – CNC machined

    - Heat-treated to Rockwell C36; full coverage shotpeened; end-to-end balanced in sets.

    - Pauter 220k psi tensile strength MSP220 steel, J-formed, rolled thread racing rod bolts (standard.)

    - Aluminum-bronze wrist pin bushings (standard.)

    - These 1mz-fe rods weigh in at 609g per rod.

All rods will also include oiling channels which help in a number of ways; they provide an easy exit for spent bearing lubrication, they direct a spray of oil to the pin and underside of the piston, and to permit tighter rod to crank side clearances!

We also can get Titanium Rods made for engines that are going to see massive revs, contact us for more details.

Last time i checked, the pauter titanium rods for the 1MZ were a bit over 1500pounds a set.

Anyone know what the stock 1MZ rods weigh?

Go soothingly on the grease mud as there lurks a skid demon.

The crank sensor on the VVTi MZFE is positioned 180 degrees from the centre of the gap in the sensor wheel (36-2) when the engine is at TDC (Top Dead Centre)

There are 17 teeth in between it and the gap.

Whether you'd enter that as 170 degrees BTDC or 180 degrees BTDC I'm not too sure.

Anyone know if this is the same on the non VVTi MZs?
