Fidanza question?

I just want to be sure before i buy.
I am using a mk2 na box and clutch with a turbo pressure plate, is this the correct part no for the flywheel i need for the 3vz? Fidanza part number: 130881

I don't think that's the one mate. I think you'll be needing the one for the 5sfe, rather than the V6 (that's the part number you have). The V6 one works fine with the turbo box.

Paul will go over this though, I'm sure.

Gary if you are using the NA box your options are -

a) get the 3vz flywheel and use a turbo pressure plate with na friction plate.

b)get a 5sfe fly but it will need to be machined to fit the v6 and you can use a complete na clutch kit

That's all correct, it's the exact setup i've been running the last year

The second option makes it easier to source a complete clutch kit instead of having to get bits from both - although you won't be changing clutches very often.

Going to go with the V6 flywheel and use a turbo pressure plate. Have had a na clutch kit sat in the dining room for a year now (since i last thought about the conversion) so i only need to buy the pressure plate. I dont really want to start machining the flywheel, else i would just use my mr2 one ( I am a little anal about things like this, and would only end up getting it re-balanced for my own peace of mind!lol ).

What I needed is confirmation of the part no, as ultrarev list this part for camrys upto '91 3.0-3.3. so is there another flywheel part number for after 1991? or is it a case of one size fits all?

Ok, I have realized that i miss read the details and it covers upto '01 not '91!

i think the lexus es3000 is the same flywheel cause thats a v6 and it says on their web that it fits a camry 3.3 as well hmmmm my mother is going to new york this christmas staying at the marriot i wonder if they will deliver it to her hotel clutch kit and flywheel any thing to declare madame yes about 10 lbs of flywheel sunshine and i get a nice crissy prezzie.just need to find a mk2 turbo gearbox 21 splines.

Yeah it is, both use the 3vz-fe, turbo box is going to have to wait until next year (all i want is the lsd really!) but I want the fidanza now!

Is it wrong to feel this way about a piece of metal? :drool:

yes and never get to see the alloy lovelynes untill u have to take the gearbox apart again .dont tell them about perspex gearbox paul they will need neon lights in them then thats the way to the chav dark side.
