i managed to grab nik v gary ,it should be noted nik was trying a 2nd gear start cos wheel spin at the start was a major issue this weekend...

Paul Woods

13's,14's and i think stu did a 12.9 before his gearbox let go..... traction off the line seemed to be an issue for everyone

garys and niks times there were 13.97 and around 14.4 for nik. both did better times later.

yeah that first run sucked i bogged down on the start :shifty: that was a single turbo skyline, he run a 13.8 or so.

i whopped a v6 nissan thing later with a 14.09 . i had various troubles (fanny driver excuses eh jasper lol ) with traction in the first runs, a 14.5 was the slowest i had with low boost.

my best time was from the man stu who layed down a 13.88 at the end of today in my motor which i was more than happy with :boogie:

Launch and traction control? There are some sophisticated systems, which aren't too expensive, and they can use the ABS sensor/castlelation wheel to good effect.

I've heard good things about the Racelogic system, that has LC and it's an adjustable TC system too.

Might be an option to consider?

Podge scared a Supra he was against so much that it blew up on it's next run - oil and metal bits all over the track - flames and bangs from the exhaust - was quite exciting for .568 of a second or so rotflmao

good shout. i might add it was my first time, the suspension was wound all the way up at the rear .. what do i know!, we changed later for all the way down at the rear for a great start... it was figthing although much better. tyre pressure was also up at 32 psi... pretty hard. i will now learn more and tune for drag, traction control is viable as we have the st185 cv joints which come with abs rings.. perhaps could use them.
