Just been looking at my tubby drive shafts and would like to replace the inner CV boots on them. There's a part No. on the boot 43448-17010, hopefully my friendly Toyota parts chap will be able to decifer it but if not is there an alternative source for them?

well there is the universal type boots available from unipart/partco branches etc around 6-8 quid a pop, cut the ring off to size etc to suit vehicle. i used some on my inner cv's and have done a thousand miles with no problems so far. i brought the solid boots, there is also a type which is assembled from two halves which is to be avoided.

Cheers Adam, had a look at some universal ones and TBH they don't look anywhere near as good quality as the Toyota ones so I got a pair from MrT. :freak3: £70! :eek2:
