Nice photoshopping skills, but in reality it looks shit , sorry.
I'll have a look later after a few beers, but I reckon it'll look shit then as well :booz:

Olie, the bottom one is absolutely awesome! I'd even be tempted to get that.
...maybe one on the bonnet? I'd love to get the Nurburg map on the bonnet of the mk1...a huge sticker!
any vinyl required, just ask moi..!
ollie i like the second one, doing something similar on a mk1 too..
use [skew/perspective] to match the angle of the body and how about rotating the logo about -25deg to -35deg..
I've rotated it and skewed it already, it's just the crappy angle it's at. It's too true if you know what i mean.
Here's another go

How easy is it fit and remove vinyl and what does it cost? Think i'd like to give it a try and see what it looks like.
I see trying to break up the designed with ruler styling :hidesbehi lol
No no, am going with the 2 tone jobby when i do the arches probably next year but fancied trying this to see what it'd be like.

Yeah, I'm lovin' that last one too! Not sure about the URL though, maybe put it down on the side skirt?
How easy will it be to place the Vinyl over the side vent and keeping it neat?
one thing to consider is size too..vinyl comes on rolls 32" wide, so any design cant be higher/longer than 32" unless you use two cuts and put them together..
vinyl production/cutting in india is half the price it costs in the uk..and i can do the legwork of drawing in illustrator for you..
as for getting it off..i think a little hot air and a patient hand works quite well though ive never done it myself..
agree on the URL..its not needed tbh..the logo speaks for itself..
the adhesive on vinyl is very very sticky stuff so i dont see a problem wrapping it around the vent..i can send you a spare (faulty) sticker to try if you like..
heres my visualisation..:hidesbehi

Ah right, now i get what you mean, -25 to -35 degrees from true, not to make it look straight.
I'll get out the ruler when am doing the exhaust omorrow and scale up the sizes.
Wonder how it'd look in red? :hmm:

Thats gotta be near perfection.
Still think the TB logo with the fade from light blue to black would look sweet, but thats awesome...I wonder what would go with red?

I totally agree. I would get one of those on mine!! My opinion might have dropped a bit after i said i like all those mad bodykits though:whistle:
EDIT: What would be the option for a black car? White vinyl? Or pink maby?:)

:hmm:
Oh aye, that on with a Sam Auto kit.
Nik, can you check out how much it'd cost to get 2 of these done in a grey colour please.
I fancy giving this a go for definite.
any idea of size..? no idea what kinda radius logo we're talking..
32" x 32" if that's the max on one piece?
my mistake just got confirmation from the manufacturers..
Vinyls are available upto a size of 60" in width and the max length that we could print is 144"
so measure the size dia you need for the logo mate and let me know..
Kewl, will get the measuring tape out tonight.
Just another thought, would this vinyl work ok in a big flat sheet? As in round the lower half of the car and over the roof?
Kewl, will get the measuring tape out tonight.
3 inches, check. lol
Just thought i'd get it in before anyone else does.

wont get much in if its only 3 inches rotflmao :hidesbehi :gay:
If yer goin' 2 tone then you could poss make the bottom half of the graphics the same colour as the top part of the car and and then make the other part of the graphics arse aboot tit wae that. IYSWIM

olberj, i like msherry's idea of the blue maybe like a royal blue could you give that a try
Could just put it on the bonnet instead :)
That way you wont have airvents and door handles messing it up

I have to admit - they look AMAZING!
On the practical side - what about stone chips etc - won't it start to peel off after a few wahses/polishes if it has nips etc. in it from road damage?
Nik (possibly a stupid question - but..) can vinyl printing be done in many different colours - for example, if you had a favourite photograph you wanted made bonnet size could it be done?
You planning on a midnight plastering of Lilly with Paul's least favourite school photo? lol

Can't see that being an issue with any of Owens cars. :hidesbehi

hmm..yes vinyl can be printed on but i have no experience of this..should be okay though..generally vinyl is just stock colours and is cut to suit..

only seeing this now,i thought the graphics would look shit but they actually do look very good indeed! i too would love to see one photoshopped with the original colours, good work olie
tbh i think youd be better off painting that design on..way to much work to have it done in vinyl..and far inferior in quality to a nice laquered paint job..

agreed,i wonder how much an airbrush artist would charge? arms and legs id imagine!
how difficult can it be..?

how difficult can it be..?
Judging from the quotes I've had for my graphics - harder than flying a space shuttle!
If anyone knows a good airbrush artist in the South Wales area could you let me know please?
You should speak to Fimmo, he does graphics as well as tints ;)
How about a big piece of card with the logo cut out of it, then just spray on whatever colour you want?
Should work fine
