Is 3S-FE alternator same as 3S-GE?

Does anyone know if alternators are swappable between the FE and GE?

Dont know, you have to check the alternator, i did this with one from a carina and it went straingt on to my 3SGE.

also you need to make sure the plugs connector is the same.

Nope... I dont think it is, the 3S-FE has a different plug from my experience, though Its probably worth checking. If the plugs are the same then it'll fit as the body is the same.

On mine i changed the plug from my original one, obviously once that bit is not knackered on yours.
