I know the only difference between Rev 1 and 2 was the brakes, wheels and the rear suspension settings? The Rev 1 had a different front lip too, I think it was black plastic.

I think Rev 3 changed the ignitor, the AFM was swapped for a MAP system, the block is essentially the same, obviously ECU was different, the VSV is a quicker switching valve in the Rev3, the turbo was changed from the CT26 to the CT20b the stock boost pressure was raised, Power went from 225ps to 245ps (220bhp ish to 240bhp ish), rear suspension was softend I think to make it more GT than Twitchy. The rear lights were changed as was the rear spoiler too.

I'm sure I've missed something ...

what i heard was that the big difference between the three was cam and timing just trying to find out if this is true or not

I think the exhaust cam was different. Not sure on the timing though.

I'd say so, provided the mileage was <60,000m (110k km) - make sure you get all bits - as some clips are, err... Less than complete lol

doesn't say mileage, but, i would be doing internals anyway

So long as it's ok then yeah. Piece of advice, dont go higher than 86.5mm bore - anything over that can cause block cracking at higher boost. 87mm is a no no.
